Dr Steven Jones MBBS, MPsych, FRANZCP, Adv. Cert Child and Adolescent Adv. Cert Psychotherapy Psych is a Consultant Psychiatrist who specialises in general adult psychiatry and youth mental health.

Dr Jones brings a caring and down to earth approach to the treatment of people across a range of ages. He recognizes that treatment should be a collaborative process and works to develop a treatment plan that’s unique to the individual. Dr Jones also encourages input from family and carers, and recognises their important role in successful recovery.

He has worked extensively in both public and private settings, including the Royal Children’s Hospital (Melbourne), The Royal Melbourne Hospital and most recently Delmont Private Hospital. Dr Jones has also completed advanced training in both psychotherapy and, child and adolescent mental health.

Currently, he practices full time at Robina Private Hospital and is able to offer a range of appointment times, and both outpatient and inpatient care, if required. Dr Jones accepts patients aged from 10 years of age through to 60 years of age.
