Dr Elsa Yeung is a consultant psychiatrist specialising in depression, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorder and personality disorders including borderline personality disorder. She also has a strong interest in Asian mental health, and is able to provide consultations in both Mandarin and Cantonese.

Dr Yeung is committed to providing the best treatment options in the most convenient and accessible way, ensuring all patients in need of support can effectively access treatment.

She is particularly interested in assisting patients with treatment resistant depression and adjusting medication treatment to get the balance right. She is an accredited provider of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS), a proven alternative to antidepressant medication treatment.

Dr Yeung works closely with patients and their support team to identify underlying issues, reset boundaries and formulate ongoing management plans.

Dr Yeung accepts referrals for inpatient admissions and outpatient appointments at her private practice consulting rooms at Robina Private Hospital, and she also accepts mental health referrals for patients with WorkCover and medico legal claims.
