Robina Private Hospital is at the forefront of innovative mental health care, with new research demonstrating the value of a single-day art therapy workshop for people receiving treatment for eating disorders.
A recently published pilot study in Art Therapy: Journal of the American Art Therapy Association evaluated the feasibility and impact of a one-day, intensive art therapy workshop delivered within Robina Private Hospital’s Eating Disorder Service. The workshop was offered to both inpatient and outpatient participants as part of routine treatment and focused on emotional expression, self-reflection, and emotional regulation through guided creative activities.
