Evidence-Based Practice Meets Innovative Care

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is an evidence-based approach that helps patients identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. It supports mental health recovery by fostering healthier coping mechanisms, improving emotional resilience, and promoting positive thought patterns to manage conditions like anxiety, depression, and stress.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

DBT is a structured therapy designed to help patients regulate intense emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and reduce self-destructive behaviours. Combining mindfulness techniques with practical skills for emotional regulation, it is particularly effective for individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges.

Robotic-Assisted Rehabilitation

Our Robotic-Assisted Rehabilitation program at Robina Private Hospital enhances recovery by combining advanced technology with traditional therapies. Integrated into inpatient and day therapy programs, this evidence-based approach increases repetitions, intensity, and motivation, optimising results efficiently and effectively.

Ideal for conditions such as stroke, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s, and Multiple Sclerosis, our sensory robotic devices target a range of symptoms to support personalised recovery goals. By supplementing conventional therapy, robotic-assisted rehabilitation helps patients and therapists achieve the best possible outcomes in a supportive environment.

Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS)

Our advanced Repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) programs enable higher-acuity psychiatric treatment, supporting innovative and evidence-based care for complex mental health conditions. rTMS is a non-invasive, evidence-based treatment for mental health conditions like depression.

It uses repetitive magnetic pulses to stimulate specific areas of the brain associated with mood regulation. This innovative therapy is well-tolerated, with minimal side effects, and is particularly beneficial for patients who have not responded to traditional treatments.

rTMS is available for both inpatients and outpatients, ensuring flexible access to this advanced treatment in a safe and supportive environment.

Ketamine Therapy

Our Ketamine Therapy program offers an innovative, evidence-based treatment option for complex mental health conditions, including treatment-resistant depression. Ketamine, administered in a carefully controlled medical setting, works by targeting glutamate receptors in the brain, promoting rapid improvement in mood and cognitive function.

This therapy is particularly beneficial for patients who have not responded to traditional treatments, offering hope and relief where other approaches may have failed. Ketamine Therapy is well-tolerated and closely monitored by our experienced multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

An outpatient appointment with a psychiatrist is required prior to consideration of ketamine as an inpatient treatment.
