This 12-session program is designed for participants to benefit from the therapeutic effects of social contact and connection to other women in a supportive group setting. You will learn how to communicate more effectively, enhance your self-esteem and self-confidence, adapt to lifestyle changes, develop techniques for stress management, and incorporate health coping strategies into your life to improve mental health and wellbeing.
Throughout this program you will participate in group sessions lead by a qualified Allied Health Professional. Participants will be supported and encouraged to share individual experiences as a group. You will learn new skills and will practice applying them in your own day-to-day before the next session. Then, bring what you have learnt and experienced to each group for feedback and input.
