Professional background
Celeste is an accredited practising dietitian with a particular interest in the dietary management and prevention of chronic disease and empowering patients with the self-management skills to reach their goals, improve their health and quality of life.
Her professional experience and areas of interest include the dietary management of gastrointestinal conditions; including IBS, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, stroke, dyslipidemia, hypertension, liver disease, neurological disease, mental health, malnutrition, and weight management.
Celeste attained a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics at Griffith University on the Gold Coast and has since had the opportunity to share her experience with patients in community, aged care and private practice settings and in the medical rehabilitation and mental health hospital environment working within a multidisciplinary team.
Celeste strives to provide consultations that are tailored to the individual needs of her patients, working collaboratively to implement realistic, evidenced-based nutrition recommendations, while harnessing a positive relationship with food. Celeste is a member of Dietitians Australia and is committed to continuing professional development to keep up to date in the field of nutrition science.
