Dr Saveena Singh was elected as Chairperson of the Medical Advisory Committee in December 2021. She has been an accredited Psychiatrist at Robina Private Hospital for over 7 years and has an onsite private practice and is the Director of Women's Mental Health.
Dr Singh chairs all Medical Advisory Committee meetings and as committee chair, she liaises with accredited practitioners in relation to committee objectives, and provides advise to the hospital executive on policies pertaining to clinical operations and patient care. Dr Singh provides formal feedback to the hospital executive from the Clinical Credentialing and Privileges Committee. This advice is in relation to applications for appointment as accredited practitioners, as well as amendments and/or termination of scope of practice in accordance with By-Laws.
