Our dedicated 10-bed unit provides around-the-clock care from a team of experienced professionals who specialise in eating disorders. This program is ideal if you need medical monitoring, renourishment and comprehensive support.
Our intensive Therapeutic Group Recovery Inpatient Day Program (IP) is perfect for busy adults and adolescents (16+). Running Monday to Friday, this program equips you with the skills and knowledge to manage your eating disorder and build a healthier future.
Designed for adolescents and adults with a diagnosis of Anorexia Nervosa; Bulimia Nervosa; Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED) or Unspecified Feeding or Eating Disorder and their families and carers. This is eight week program is appropriate when the patient does not require inpatient care, but needs more intensive support than offered by usual outpatient treatment.
The program may also be able to facilitate earlier discharge from inpatient care as a step down option.
The purpose of the program is to provide intensive treatment over a short period of time helping patients get back on track, challenging unhelpful thinking and eating disorder behaviours, and enable a return to health and functioning. Group therapy offers the opportunity for patients to share their experiences as well as draw on the collective strength and knowledge of the group and others.
The program is made up of a multidisciplinary team who utilises efficacious and evidence based treatment of eating disorders under the following structure:

This 3-session program, totalling 6 hours, equips you with the tools to navigate this difficult journey. You'll learn and practice essential skills like establishing clear and empathetic communication, collaborating with your loved one to solve problems, and managing your own self-care to avoid burnout. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, you can help reduce their psychological distress, emotional burden, and ultimately contribute to a healthier and happier life for both of you.
This 12 week day program is suitable for anyone over the age of 16, with a diagnosis of Binge Eating Disorder (BED), to assist in the development of skills and increase awareness of the maintaining factors for Binge Eating and associated behaviours and symptoms.

Phase 1: Introduction and preparation, Fridays 9:00am-2:00pm for 4 weeks
Phase 2: Action Fridays, 9:00am-2:00pm for 4 weeks
